Roberto Mena

Coach Roberto Mena, owner of Over The Top Athletes, was born and raised in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. In 2004, he attended and played baseball for North Central Texas College. In 2006, he transferred to The University of Tampa where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and Sports Studies with a Concentration in Adult Fitness. While at UT, Roberto played shortstop for the 2006 and 2007 National Championship Teams. Roberto was drafted in 2007 by the Seattle Mariners and went on to play 4 years of professional baseball. Along with his B.S. in Exercise Science from The University of Tampa, he is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach from USA Weightlifting.
