Coach Nick Landell was born and raised in Middletown Connecticut. Nick Attended Haddam Killingworth High School where he was a 4 year varsity starter in baseball, and a 3 year varsity starter in basketball. Nick went on to play baseball at UCONN, Avery Point and as shortstop, helped lead the team to 2 Regional Championships, a Super Regional Championship and an appearance in the Junior College World Series where Avery Point finished number 3 in the Country. Nick continued his baseball and academic career after transferring to Central Connecticut State University, where he started shortstop for the last 2 years of his college career, as well as earning his Bachelor’s degree. After College, Nick continued to persue his baseball career and signed a professional contract with the Puerto Rico Islanders. Nick found a love for Strength and Conditioning after College and soon after got his Strength and Conditioning Certification. Nick now spends his off seasons as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Over The Top Athletes.
